Choosing the seat of arbitration - COMPARATIVE PERSPECTIVES
This event forms part of the FBLS's longstanding series examining the comparative advantages of different arbitral seats across the jurisdictions of England & Wales, France, Scotland, Northern Ireland and beyond.
The discussion will focus on issues including the approach of different seats to arbitration costs, third-party funding, and the particular advantages of smaller jurisdictions as arbitral centres.
We are honoured to welcome a distinguished panel of speakers from a range of jurisdictions, including Lord Justice Jackson (England), Charles Marquand (France), and leading practitioners from Wales, Scotland and Switzerland.
The event will take place on the eve of the Welsh Legal Conference and will be available in person.
We encourage members and colleagues interested in arbitration, dispute resolution and comparative legal practice to attend what promises to be an engaging and insightful discussion.
We look forward to seeing many of you in Cardiff.
